Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Global IQ Services LLC (“AEO Pal”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal data when you visit our website, sign up for an account, or use the AEO Pal product. Contact us at support@aeopal.us with any questions.

1. When You Visit Our Website

In brief: visiting aeopal.us loads our marketing pages and, where you consent, a small amount of analytics data to help us understand how the site is used.

Data collected: IP address, browser type and version, device identifiers, pages viewed, and referring site. Essential cookies needed for the site to function are set without consent; any analytics or advertising cookies are only set with your consent, and you can decline them without losing access to the site.

Purpose & legal basis: operating and securing the website (legitimate interest), and, where you consent, understanding aggregate usage to improve the site.

2. When You Sign Up or Create an Account

In brief: creating an AEO Pal account requires an email address and a workspace name. Authentication and account data are handled by Supabase.

Data collected: email address, password (stored as a salted hash by our authentication provider, never in plain text), workspace/brand name, and technical login metadata (IP address, device/browser information) used for account security.

Processor: Supabase (authentication and database hosting).

Purpose & legal basis: creating and administering your account, necessary to perform our contract with you.

Retention: account data is kept for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete the associated data within a reasonable period, except where we must retain it to comply with law.

3. When You Use the Product

In brief: using AEO Pal means we process the brand, competitor, and prompt configuration you provide, run it against third-party AI engines and search data sources, and store the resulting analytics in your workspace.

Data collected: the brand names, domains, competitors, and prompts you configure; the responses, citations, and scores we retrieve or compute from AI engines; usage activity within the product (features used, error logs) needed to operate and improve the service; and any support messages you send us.

Third-party data sources, run at your direction:if you connect them, we retrieve data from Google Search Console and Google Analytics (via Google’s OAuth authorization, using only the read-only scopes you grant), and we query public web and Reddit content to analyze citations and backlinks. We send your configured prompts to third-party AI engines (such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, or Google AI Mode/Copilot, depending on which you enable) in order to record how those engines respond — those queries are subject to the respective provider’s own terms and privacy practices.

Processors: Google Cloud Platform (application hosting, task processing, and the underlying AI model used to analyze results), Supabase (database storage).

Purpose & legal basis: delivering the core service you signed up for (performance of our contract with you), and maintaining and securing the service (legitimate interest).

Retention: the content and results in your workspace are retained until you delete them or close your account. You control deletion of tracked brands, prompts, and connected integrations directly from the product.

4. When You Contact Us

In brief: if you email us, request a demo, or otherwise contact us, we use that information to respond to you and, where relevant, follow up about our product.

Data collected: your name, email address, and the content of your message or request.

Purpose & legal basis: responding to your inquiry (legitimate interest or, for marketing communications, your consent, which you may withdraw at any time by unsubscribing or emailing us).

Retention: we keep this correspondence for as long as reasonably needed to address your request and maintain a record of the interaction.

5. Payment Information

AEO Pal does not currently process payments directly through the product. If and when paid plans are introduced, billing will be handled by a third-party payment processor, this policy will be updated accordingly, and we will never store full credit card numbers on our own systems.

6. Third-Country Transfers

Some of our processors (including Google and Supabase) may process or store data outside of your home country, including in the United States. Where this occurs, we rely on the processor’s own compliance mechanisms (such as standard contractual clauses or equivalent safeguards) and only transfer the data necessary to provide the service.

7. Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any of these rights, email support@aeopal.us. We will respond within a reasonable timeframe and, where applicable, within the timeframe required by law. You may also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

8. Data Security

We use technical and organizational measures appropriate to the sensitivity of the data we process, including encryption in transit (HTTPS) and at rest, restricted internal access to production systems, and secure credential management. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Children’s Privacy

AEO Pal is a business-to-business product not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 16. If we learn that we have inadvertently collected such data, we will delete it promptly.

10. Automated Decision-Making

AEO Pal uses AI models to help analyze and summarize how your brand appears in AI search results. These outputs are analytics intended to inform your own decisions; we do not use automated processing to make decisions about you that produce legal or similarly significant effects.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to our practices or for legal, operational, or regulatory reasons. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or through a notice in the product. The “Last updated” date above reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of AEO Pal after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
